War

The second seal has been opened. Out rides War weilding a great sword. This character was part of my reimagining of the four horsemen from the Book of Revelation. Original Concept work done by Emilio Romero. Check out more of his work at https://uboran.artstation.com/

I wanted this rider to both embody a long history of warfare and the rapid technological advancements made in modern warfare. Centaurs were often used in Christian art as a symbol of brute force so I went in a more centaur-like design direction. This cyborg approach also helped showcase a more fused relationship between man and technology. I based all the weaponry and tech off of existing tech that has been used by a militarized force during warfare.

War's helmet and facemask. I designed it to resemble the WW2 Nazi helmet and the mohawk-like crest was inspired by the crests common to the helmets of ancient Greek warriors.
